The Launch of Threshold Designed with Studio McGee at Target

Part of the home style campaign was launching a new partnership between our owned brand Threshold™ and Studio Mcgee, designed by Shea McGee. Shea is a designer and stylist who is popular on Instagram for her traditional, classic style with a twist. She now has her own TV show (Dream Home Makeover) on Netflix. I wrote all launch content, balancing Target’s voice with Shea’s, paring down quotes, researching products, and helping the partnership come to life.

With only a few seconds to read copy, I had to be thoughtful about not only the words we chose, but also the length of each callout.

I closely collaborated with designers and art directors to tell inspirational stories with Shea’s products. We used Shea’s quotes to inspire each content block, calling out unique styling tips with priority products. We didn’t want the prices to get lost since it’s still important to the guest, so we created a custom treatment for the launch.
